Al-Daghishim clinches gold: Kuwait’s fencing glory continues

MANAMA, Jan 18: The Kuwaiti national fencing team added to its impressive medal count at the Arab Fencing Championship for cubs and buds in Bahrain, bringing the total to 10 with the acquisition of four new medals.

Badriya Al-Daghishim secured the gold medal in the fluoro weapon category for females under 13 years old, while Khaled Al-Houli claimed the silver medal in the epee weapon category for males under 15 years old.

Additionally, Laura Al-Roumi and Abdulaziz Al-Duaij contributed to the team’s success by each earning a bronze medal in their respective categories. Laura excelled in the saber weapon category for females under 15, while Abdulaziz demonstrated prowess in the saber weapon category for males under 15.

The Kuwaiti fencing team commenced its campaign on Tuesday, initially securing six diverse medals in the competition.
