Kuwaiti Al-Dawas with other winners on the podium

SHARJA, Sept 17: Kuwaiti racer Rashid Al-Dawas clinched the top spot in the GP1 category at the Sharjah International Jet Ski Championship in the United Arab Emirates. Al-Dawas expressed his elation over this remarkable achievement in a statement to (KUNA) and highlighted that the competition comprises a total of four rounds. The forthcoming round is scheduled for the upcoming week, followed by two more rounds in November and December. Reflecting on his victory, he stated, “Securing first place in the Sharjah International Jet Ski Championship is an immense honor, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the sponsors and fans who stood by me throughout the tournament.” Al-Dawas commended the exceptional organization of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, praising their exemplary handling of technical, logistical, and organizational aspects. On a vibrant Saturday, the Sharjah Club hosted the second round of thrilling Jet Ski races along the shores of Al Khan Lake in Sharjah. This event saw the participation of 55 competitors hailing from 10 different nations, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, as well as various European countries. (KUNA)
