ABU DHABI, April 26 (KUNA): Kuwait's racer Dhari Al-Dhufairi secured second place in the third round of the UAE Sprint Rally Championship, held in Umm Al Quwain.
In a statement to KUNA after the race, Al-Dhufairi, a member of the Kuwait Inspire Club, expressed his satisfaction with the achievement, highlighting the challenges posed by the high temperatures during the competition.
He mentioned that his vehicle encountered some issues due to the extreme weather conditions, but despite this, he was able to reach the desired result. Al-Dhufairi also thanked his club for their unwavering support in all his racing endeavors.
The third round saw 12 competitors, with Al-Dhufairi finishing strongly despite the tough conditions. The championship consists of four stages, each spanning 11 km. The upcoming fourth and fifth rounds are scheduled for November and December, respectively.
