Abdul Samad Al-Erian

KUWAIT CITY, July 7: In an extraordinary meeting, the General Assembly of the Kuwait Tennis Association approved the formation of a five-member transitional committee, headed by Abdul Samad Al-Erian. This committee will manage the association's affairs and organize the election of a new board of directors within 90 days, as stipulated by the association's statute.

Seven out of ten clubs representing the General Assembly attended the meeting, while three clubs were absent. The meeting was chaired by Abdullah Al-Deen, a member of the Kuwait Club's Board of Directors and Assistant Secretary, due to his seniority. The General Assembly approved the following appointments: Abdul Samad Al-Erian as President, Saad Al-Kandari as Vice-President, Ahmed Al-Qallaf as Secretary, Nayef Al-Otaibi as Assistant Secretary, and Talal Al-Muhaini as Treasurer.

Abdul Samad Al-Erian confirmed that the committee will operate by the federation's rules and regulations. During the transitional period, the committee will ensure that the Kuwaiti national team's participation in international competitions across various age levels remains unaffected and that preparation and development programs continue as planned by the technical bodies.
