KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: Kuwait's Al-Fatah Club was crowned as champion of the URC Futsal League for women for the second time, they defeated Al-Tadamon with a score of (4-3) in the match that was held at the Kuwait Sports club's hall. The Kuwait club came in third place after defeating Al-Ayoun Girls with a similar result.
In a press statement, Deputy Director General of the Public Sports Authority, Bashar Abdullah, praised the efforts of Fatima Hayatt, a member of the Board of Directors of the Local Football Association, and her interest in women's sports. Hayat praised, in a similar statement, the development of the performance of the teams participating in the tournament, where four teams participated in the event. The tournament was launched in January 2019
