Al-Fatat basketball delegation welcomed home.

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 26: The Al-Fatat Club basketball team returned to Kuwait after competing in the Arab Women's Clubs Championship in Jordan with a newly formed lineup of players.

Fadhila Al-Shuwailan, the club's president, expressed pride in the team's performance, stating, "The players delivered an admirable level of competition and fought for top positions. Although this was the team's first participation, it achieved positive results, thank God." Al-Shuwailan also mentioned, "We look forward to more distinguished future participations," while extending gratitude to Jordan for its successful organization of the tournament and its warm hospitality.

In the third-place playoff, Al-Fatat was defeated by Algeria's Kosider, while the Jordanian Al-Fuheis Youth Team claimed the championship title with an 84-60 victory over Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ula team.

Notably, the title of Best Professional in the championship was awarded to Al-Fatat Club’s Nigerian player, Uchendu.
