Al-Fatat coach draws a play.

FUHEIS, Jordan, Sept 21: Kuwait's Al-Fatat Club is set for a challenging encounter today against Jordan's Al-Fuheis Youth Club in the semi-finals of the Arab Women's Basketball Clubs Championship, currently being hosted in Jordan. This high-stakes match takes place in the semi-final stage, following strong performances from the qualifying teams.

The Arab Basketball Federation recently adjusted the team ranking system, now prioritizing head-to-head results to rank teams tied in points, instead of relying on point differentials. With this amendment, Saudi Arabia's Al-Ula team claimed the top spot with 9 points, followed closely by Al-Fuhais Youth, also with 9 points. Al-Fatat Kuwait secured third place with 8 points, while Algeria's Kosider team ranked fourth with 7 points.

The top four teams advanced to the semi-finals, where Al-Ula (1st place) will take on Kosider (4th place), and Al-Fuheis (2nd place) will face Al-Fatat (3rd place). The winner will move on to the final for a chance to claim the title, while the losing teams will battle for third place and the bronze medal.
