KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22: The rider of the Kuwait Equestrian Club, Rakan Al-Hasawi, succeeded in winning the title of Al-Masila Club Show Jumping Championship, the third local championship for the current sports season 2022-2023, after a strong competition from his fellow riders in the main half at a height of 130 cm, with a time of 74.97 seconds without penalty points. The Knight of Al-Masayel Club, Abdullah Al-Awadi, took the second spot and third places, followed by Latifa Al-Hajri and Abdul Rahman Al-Fazi’.

The champions were crowned by the president of Al-Masila Club, Bader Tariq Al-Mailam, and the president of the “Al- Sakab” club, Muhammad Al-Mailam. At a height of 120 cm, the golden generation rider Nadia Al-Mutawa came in first place, and the rider Suleiman Al-Roumi won the first place at a height of 110 cm. Bader Al-Mailam, President of Al- Masila Club, said: “The third local edition, which was held at the Al-Masila Equestrian Club in Sabhan, witnessed strong competition between all riders, whether in the initial, intermediate or advanced categories. There has become a great public awareness of parents to support the jockeys with strong horses to compete in local competitions after the good preparation of the jockeys in the external camps.”
