RIYADH, Oct 6: Al-Hilal staged a comeback to secure a 2-1 victory over Al-Ahli Jeddah in the marquee clash of the Saudi Roshen League's sixth round. This marks Al-Hilal's sixth consecutive win, tying a historic achievement for the second time. Al-Ahli Jeddah initially took the lead through Spaniard Gabriel Vega, who scored in the 12th minute. However, Al-Hilal turned the match around with two goals from Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 56th and 78th minutes.

This victory brings Al-Hilal to a perfect 18 points from six matches, repeating a similar streak from the 2018-2019 season under Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, when the team won nine consecutive matches.

In another match, Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane led Al-Nassr to a commanding 3-0 win over Al-Arabi, bringing Al-Nassr’s total to 14 points and placing them in third. Al-Arabi remains with seven points in 11th place. Al-Taawoun secured a 2-0 win against Al-Fateh.
