KUWAIT CITY, March 29: Al-Jahra surged to the top of the First Division League after securing a crucial 2-1 victory over Al-Shabab in the 11th round of the competition on Friday at Mubarak Al-Ayyar Stadium.

Al-Jahra now leads the league with 15 points, while Al-Shabab dropped to third place, remaining at 12 points.

The "Sons of the Red Palace" showcased resilience, overturning a one-goal deficit to claim their first-time top position this season. To reward the team's efforts, Al-Jahra Club President Yousef Karim awarded each player a bonus of 150 dinars.

In another match, Al-Sulaibikhat and Al-Sahel played to a 1-1 draw at Al-Sahel’s home stadium. The result pushed Al-Sulaibikhat up to second place with 12 points, while Al-Sahel, despite reaching 9 points, remained at the bottom of the table. Fourth-placed Burgan, with 10 points, did not participate in this round.
