KUWAIT CITY, Jan 21: Ahmed Al-Jarallah, the Editor-in-Chief of the Arab Times and Al-Seyassah newspapers, received Polina Dlamini, President of the International Women’s Group (IWG) and spouse of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Eswatini, at his office on Tuesday morning. She was accompanied by Laura Duclaud, Vice President of IWG and spouse of the Mexican Ambassador, and Baigalmaa Bayantsagaan, Vice President of IWG and spouse of the Mongolian Ambassador. The meeting was held in the presence of Marlon Aquino Malinao, Managing Editor of the Arab Times, along with Saud Al-Farhan and Mohamed Al- Farhan. During the meeting, the IWG delegation expressed their gratitude to Arab Times for highlighting their activities and events in the media. They also conveyed their interest in enhancing cooperation with the newspaper.
The two sides discussed several cultural topics, and during these discussions, the IWG delegation highlighted their initiatives aimed at improving cultural and social understanding among the various nationalities residing in Kuwait. Meanwhile, Ahmed Al-Jarallah praised the prominent role played by IWG in promoting cultural understanding and communication among the people residing in Kuwait. He commended the group’s efforts in organizing events that reflect global cultural diversity, and affirmed that the positive impact of such initiatives not only strengthens understanding among nations but also helps showcase Kuwaiti culture and traditions on an international level. Al-Jarallah emphasized the importance of cooperating with IWG to support shared humanitarian values and enhance the role of women in building cultural and social bridges between different nationalities. He reaffirmed the commitment of both Arab Times and Al-Seyassah newspapers to continue covering and showcasing the group’s activities in the media.
