Ali Jassim Al-Kharafi received the trophy from Mohammed Al-Barrak.

RIYADH, Nov 20: Kuwait Club and National Equestrian Team rider, Ali Jassim Al-Kharafi, secured victory in the prestigious "Jahiz" International Show Jumping Championship, competing in the "three-star" category. Hosted by the Saudi Equestrian Federation, the event saw the participation of 135 skilled riders from 17 countries worldwide.

In the Grand Prix race, a challenging 150 cm course featuring 24 male and female riders, Ali Al-Kharafi exhibited exceptional skill aboard his horse "I." In a fierce competition, he emerged triumphant, claiming the coveted first place and the gold medal. The Saudi rider, Kamal Bahamdan, secured second place, followed by Khalid Al-Mubti from Saudi Arabia and Thai rider Jingbahun Kramidage. The crowning ceremony for the champions was conducted by Mohammed Al-Barrak, CEO of Information Technology at Jahez Company.

Maintaining his stellar performance, Al-Kharafi continued to shine by clinching the top spot in the middle-class race at a height of 135 cm, riding his horse "Karat." In this race, which featured 40 male and female riders, his compatriot Anaz Al-Anaz secured the seventh position riding "Crownie." The awards were presented by Afnan Al-Khader, representing the actor Ready company. Abdullah Al-Awadi achieved a commendable fifth place in the 130 cm race riding his horse "Dee Dee," further adding to Kuwait's success in the championship.
