KUWAIT CITY, March 24: Ali Al-Kharafi, a rider from Kuwait Equestrian Club, clinched the championship title in the fifth round of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation Championship for show jumping. The event held at the Kuwait Equestrian Center, saw robust participation from riders representing various local clubs.

Sponsored by prominent entities including the Kuwait Olympic Committee, the Public Authority for Sports, Zain Telecommunications Company, KG Company, and Kuwait International Bank, the tournament was organized under the auspices of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation.

In the crucial eighth main heat, set at 140-145 cm height, Al-Kharafi delivered an impeccable performance, clocking in at 73.30 seconds without incurring any penalty points. Following closely behind were knights Nick Channing, Abdullah Al-Roudhan, Fawaz Al-Subaie, and Yara Al-Hunaidi. Al-Kharafi also secured sixth place in the competition.

Additionally, Al-Kharafi seized the lead in the seventh round at a height of 130-135 cm, while Abdullah Al-Roudhan emerged victorious in the fourth round, set at a height of 125-130 cm. Nabila Al-Ali, an esteemed international judge and Secretary of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation, officiated the crowning ceremony for the champions.
