KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: Kuwait organized the second edition of the Women Indoors Football Tournament (Futsal) which ended with the crowning of Al-Kuwait Sports Club as the title winners, defeating Al-Arabi Sports Club in the final match held .
The third place went to Al-Qadisiya, after they defeated Women’s Club by 6 -4
Present at the final match were several sports officials including Deputy Chairperson of Kuwait Olympic Committee Muhammad Jafar, committee member Sheikh Mubarak Faisal Al-Nawaf, Head of Kuwait Football Association Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef, and Chairperson and Board Member of the Women’s Committee at Kuwait Football Association Fatma Hayat.
Meanwhile, Hayat expressed happiness over the success of the second edition of the women’s futsal tournament; hoping the tournament will continue to do better every year in order to improve women’s football in Kuwait.
