KUWAIT CITY, Jan 8: The Al-Qadisiya Board of Directors has decided to organize an external training camp for the team, a move initiated immediately after the appointment of the new coach, who will be taking over from the team's former coach, Muhammad Ibrahim.

Board member Muhammad Reda Marafi emphasized that the Al-Qadisiya administration is actively seeking the input of the "General" to select the new coach. He expressed gratitude to the support staff, led by Saleh Al-Sheikh and Hassan Fadel, for their leadership during the previous period.

Regarding the contract renewal of player Eid Al-Rashidi, Marafie clarified that the player remains under contract until the end of the season. He indicated that discussions on this matter would be facilitated with the club's management and the incoming technical staff.

Al-Qadisiya has initiated negotiations with multiple coaches as potential successors to the departing coach. Among the contenders are Serbian Dragan Talajic, Croatians Dalibor Starkevic and Ante Misha, as well as Spaniard Pablo Franco.

In other team news, player Abdulaziz Wadi has been discharged from the hospital following tests that confirmed his well-being. Wadi had experienced a collision with teammate Abdullah Mutawa, resulting in a loss of consciousness and prompting the need for medical assessments.

On the other hand, Algerian Al Arabi professional Sofiane Bouchard left for his country yesterday, after ending his association with the team for family reasons.

Al-Akhdar contracted with Bouchard last summer, but the death of his father last October forced him to terminate his contract with Al-Arabi due to the necessity of being with his family.

Reports indicate that his former club, Chabab Belouizdad of Algeria, wants to restore Bouchard’s services during the winter transfer period.
