KUWAIT CITY, Aug 15: Al-Qadisiya aims for redemption today as it hosts Al-Yarmouk at 7:00 pm at Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium in the second round of the Zain Premier League. Meanwhile, Al-Arabi seeks to secure their second consecutive victory when they face Al-Tadamon at 9:15 pm at Abdullah Al-Khalifa Stadium. The round continues tomorrow with two more matches. In the first, Al-Nasr takes on Khaitan at 7:00 pm at Abdullah Al-Khalifa Stadium. In the second match, Al-Salmiya will visit Kazma at 9:15 pm.

The round concludes next Monday with a match between Al-Fahaheel and Kuwait Club at Al-Shabab Stadium. This match was postponed due to Kuwait Club’s participation in the AFC Champions League 2 play-off match.

Al-Qadisiya looks to rebound from its 1-0 loss to Kuwait Club in the first round, particularly after its second-half performance, where the team was largely absent despite a strong first half. Coach Mohammed Al-Mishaan knows that a win is crucial to restoring confidence and getting back on track to compete for the title, which has eluded the team for eight seasons.

On the other side, Al-Yarmouk, who drew 4-4 with Al-Tadamon in the first round, is eager to make an impact in today’s match. In the second match, Al-Arabi, under the leadership of Coach Nasser Al-Shatti, hopes to replicate its strong performance from the first round against Kazma, where it secured a 2-0 victory. Conversely, Al-Tadamon aspires to gain something positive from this encounter.

In tomorrow's matches, Al-Nasr is determined to bounce back from its 3-1 defeat to Al-Salmiya in the previous round. The club's management is working hard to complete the registration of its professional trio, Bernardo Villar (Brazil), Carlos Ventura (Dominican Republic), and Onanuga Babatunde (Nigeria). Khaitan is also looking to recover after its 4-1 loss to Al-Fahaheel. In the second match, Al-Salmiya is aiming for its second win of the season. However, it faces a tough challenge against Kazma, who is eager to make up for its defeat against Al-Arabi.
