CAIRO, July 25: Al-Qadisiya will play its second friendly match at 6:00 pm against the Egyptian Wadi Degla team during its camp in Cairo. The "Yellow" team tied 1-1 in the first match with Al-Orouba of the UAE and will play a third match before returning home next weekend. Meanwhile, Al-Qadisiya player Muhammad Khalil continues his treatment program with the medical team after suffering a rupture in the connective muscle during training earlier this week.

In a related development, player Abdulaziz Wadi has rejoined Al-Qadisiya training sessions after recovering from a severe bruise sustained in the match against Al-Orouba. He is now ready to participate in the upcoming friendly matches.

Al-Qadisiya is preparing for the new season, which will kick off with a match against Kuwait Club on August 8 in the first round of the Zain Premier League. The team will also compete in the Gulf Club Championship as the champion of the Amir Cup.

Meanwhile,  Al-Arabi played to a goalless draw with Azerbaijan’s Araz in its first friendly match within its camp in Erzurum, Turkey, which began last week and will continue until early August. The team will resume training this evening, while the administrative staff arranges two more friendly matches to allow all players to participate, as desired by team coach Nasser Al-Shatti.

At the Kazma camp, the "Orange" team will play its third friendly match in Egypt, meeting Smouha tomorrow on Saturday. Kazma previously defeated the Beni Suef Telephone team 7-1 in a controversial match and lost to the Misr Insurance team by a single goal last Tuesday. The team will play one final match before returning home next Thursday to prepare for the Zain Premier League campaign.

Al-Salmiya will resume training on Saturday, after returning from a 15-day camp in Bosnia. During the camp, Al-Salmiya played two friendly matches, defeating Sarajevo 4-0 and Vamos 2-1. It will play two more friendly matches locally before starting their Zain Premier League campaign on August 9.
