KUWAIT CITY, Nov 21: Al-Qadsiya Club has bolstered its water polo team by signing Serbian national team captain Filip Filipovic to compete in the current season.
The 37-year-old Filipovic boasts an impressive career; including multiple Olympic appearances with Serbia and a professional stint in some of the world's top water polo leagues.
Hassan Abu Al-Hassan, the club's game manager, expressed confidence in Filipovic's impact, describing him as a significant addition to Al-Qadsiya and the development of water polo in Kuwait. He emphasized the team's ambition to continue building on its successes from previous seasons and maintaining its dominance in the sport.
