Former Burgan coach Muhammad Dehelis.

KUWAIT CITY , Dec 5: Al-Qadsia and Al-Fahaheel clubs have initiated discussions with former Burgan coach, Mohamed Dehelis, for potential coaching roles in the ongoing season's competitions.

Dehelis stepped down from his position as Burgan's coach immediately after securing a 2-0 victory over Al-Salmiya in the preliminary round of the Crown Prince Cup. Despite the triumph, Burgan currently sits in fourth place in the Doi Zein first division, accumulating only 5 points from 6 rounds and trailing the leader, Al-Tadamon, by 7 points.

Al-Qadsia, currently holding the third position in the Zain Premier League, is grappling with a period of fluctuating performance and a noticeable decline. The team faced a tough challenge against Al-Fahaheel in the Crown Prince Cup's preliminary round, requiring penalty kicks to advance with a 5-4 score after a 2-2 draw. This dip in form has stirred public discontent, with fans expressing dissatisfaction and calling for a change in leadership, specifically targeting coach Mohamed Ibrahim.

Similarly, Al-Fahaheel has witnessed a decline in performance compared to the previous season, where the team, under the guidance of Syrian coach Firas Al-Khatib, showcased strength against most opponents. This season, Al-Fahaheel has secured only one victory in the league, accompanied by two draws and five defeats.
