Tomorrow's fixtures feature Al-Jahra meeting Al-Kuwait, followed by Kazma hosting Al-Nasr. The tour concludes on Saturday with a single showdown between Al-Salmiya and Al-Arabi at Thamer Stadium.
Currently, Al-Arabi leads the standings with 20 points, tied with second-place Kuwait, while Al- Al-Qadsia is in third with 19 points. The league table also includes Al-Salmiya (14 points), Kazma and Al-Nasr (13 points each), Al-Shabab (11 points), Khaitan and Al-Fahaheel (6 points each), and Al-Jahra with two points.
Al-Qadsia enters today's match with the goal of securing victory, aiming to surpass Khaitan after their earlier draw (1-1). The team also eyes a temporary lead with 22 points, hoping Al-Salmiya and Al-Jahra can impede the progress of their competitors within the same round.
Buoyed by a recent clean-sheet victory against Al-Shabab and a quarter-final berth in the Crown Prince Cup, Al-Qadsia looks to maintain positive results.
On the other side, Khaitan seeks its second victory in the competition to distance itself from the relegation zone. Coach Florin Matrock acknowledges the challenge ahead.
In the second match, Al-Shabab aims for redemption following a tough defeat to Al-Qadsia in the last round. Victory could propel them away from the shadow of relegation. Al-Fahaheel seeks its second win to break the tie with Al-Shabab and revive hopes of securing a position among the league's top six teams.
