KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: The fourth round of the Basketball Merge League's First Division will kick off with two exciting matchups. In the first game, Al-Qadsiya will face Al-Qurain at 5:00 pm, followed by the second match between Al-Sulaibikhat and Al-Nasr. Both games will occur at the Union Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex.
Al-Qadsiya (4 points) will have a tough challenge ahead against Al-Qurain, who currently has 1 point. Despite the odds, Al-Qadsiya's American coach, Anthony Stebbing, is determined to keep his team on track for a top spot in the standings. On the other hand, Al-Qurain, led by Yahya Kleib, is eager to demonstrate its competitiveness and establish itself among the league's "big four."
The battle between Al-Sulaibikhat and Al-Nasr in the second match looks evenly matched, as both teams have 3 points. Al-Sulaibikhat, coached by Fahad Burjas, aims to continue its strong form following its opening-round win over Kazma. Meanwhile, Al-Nasr, under the guidance of Macedonian coach Gordenko Davidbakov, will be looking to halt its opponent’s momentum and secure its place in the league's top tier.
At the end of the second half, the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, where the first-place team will face the fourth, and the second will meet the third, in a playoff format for the title.
