KUWAIT CITY, Nov 25: Al-Qadsiya and Kuwait Club will wrap up their final training sessions this evening ahead of pivotal matches tomorrow. Al-Qadsiya is set to face Bahrain's Al-Riffa in Manama as part of the third round of Group 2 in the Gulf Club Champions League. Meanwhile, Kuwait Club will host Uzbekistan's Nasaf Qarshi in the fifth round of Group 4 in the AFC Champions League 2.

For Al-Qadsiya, uncertainty looms over the availability of Khaled Ibrahim and Al-Mahdi Berrahma, both of whom missed the last training session due to injuries. In response, head coach Zeljko Petrovic has tested alternative options in case they remain sidelined. The team currently sits in third place with one point, trailing Al-Riffa (3 points), Al-Arabi of Qatar (1 point), and group leader Al-Ettifaq of Saudi Arabia (6 points).

On the other hand, Kuwait Club is focused on salvaging its position in Group 4 after its qualification hopes have significantly diminished. The team is at the bottom of the standings with two points, following Al-Hussein Irbid of Jordan (9 points), Shabab Al-Ahli of the UAE (7 points), and Nasaf Qarshi (4 points).

To keep its slim qualification hopes alive, Kuwait Club must secure victories in their remaining two matches while relying on Shabab Al-Ahli to lose both of theirs. Head coach Nebojsa Jovovic and his players recognize the necessity of a win—not only to boost morale but also to maintain their dominant form in the local league, where they remain unbeaten. A win tomorrow would rekindle their hopes and restore their competitive edge, despite their lack of victories in the past four rounds.

Both teams approach tomorrow's fixtures with determination, aiming to turn the tide in their respective campaigns.
