Al-Qadsiya begins training in UAE ahead of the Gulf Champions League semifinal

DUBAI, March 1: Al-Qadsiya has commenced training in the UAE in preparation for their crucial semifinal clash against Al-Nasr in the Gulf Champions League, scheduled for the day after tomorrow.

Montenegrin head coach Zeljko Petrovic has announced the squad list for the upcoming match, featuring key players such as Khaled Al-Rashidi, Ali Jarrah, Moaz Al-Dhafiri, Rashid Al-Dosari, Khaled Sabah, Salman Al-Boos, Mubarak Al-Fenini, Eid Al-Rashidi, Faisal Al-Shatti, Hussein Dhahiri, Abdulaziz Wadi, Abdullah Al-Awadhi, Bader Al-Mutawa, Adhbi Shehab, Abdullah Mutawa, Abdullah Al-Shamali, Mohammed Al-Sharifi, Ahmed Bodi, Abdullah Al-Ghaniman, Khaled Ibrahim, Mishaal Khaled, Al-Mahdi Barahma, Abdulrahman Al-Dhafiri, and Ismail Khafi.

The team will be without Nigerian professional Daniel Jibola, who is suspended due to yellow card accumulation. However, Ismail Khafi has rejoined the squad after missing the previous match against Al-Ettifaq due to the passing of his mother.

Petrovic expressed satisfaction with the team’s recent 2-0 victory over Al-Fahaheel in the seventh round of the Zain Premier League. He hopes the win will boost the squad’s morale as they aim for a strong performance against Al-Nasr.
