KUWAIT CITY, Oct 2: Al-Qadsiya Secretary General and Director of Water Games, Hassan Abu Al-Hassan, commended the significant contributions made by the technical and administrative teams in the swimming program, which led to the yellow teams securing first place across all age groups from 6 to 9 years old. Al-Qadsiya dominated various competitions and ranking tables in the current season's swimming championship.

The 6-year-old team achieved remarkable success, winning four gold medals through players Hussein Al-Qattan and Salim Nabil. The 7-year-old team also excelled, securing three gold medals and two silver medals thanks to Musaed Al-Saad, Aws Hazem, Abdullah Al-Sumait, Abdullah Al-Mutawa, and Fadel Al-Qallaf. The 8-year-old team emerged victorious with swimmers Abdul Razzaq Al-Shammari, Yassin Al-Shishtawi, Omar Al-Ali, Nasser Mohammed, and Abdulaziz Al-Samhan earning six gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal. Meanwhile, the 9-year-old team clinched first place in the championship, led by Ibrahim Mohammed, Fahd Al-Tanak, Hamad Al-Samhan, Ali Al-Hadi Al-Qallaf, Othman Buqrais, and Hussein Sarkhouh, who collectively won four gold medals and three silver medals, topping the standings for their age group.

Abu Al-Hassan praised the exceptional performances and record achievements of the yellow swimmers in various categories. He emphasized the Water Sports Department's commitment to nurturing and developing young talent, aiming to cultivate the next generation of swimmers for the club’s future success.
