Al-Qadsiya looks to fine-tune form in a friendly against Al-Shabab

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7: Al-Qadsiya will face Al-Shabab in a friendly match at 6:00 pm at Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium, as part of the team's preparations for the Zain Premier League. Al-Qadsiyah's next league fixture is against Al-Nasr on October 19 in the seventh round, while Al-Shabab is gearing up for the start of the First Division League.

Currently, Al-Qadsiya sits in fifth place with 7 points, trailing league leaders Kuwait by 11 points. The league is on pause due to the international break, as the Kuwait national team prepares for Asian Cup qualifiers against Oman and Palestine on October 10 and 15.

In other updates, Al-Arabi and Kazma played to a goalless draw in a friendly match at Sabah Al-Salem Stadium. Al-Arabi will face Al-Yarmouk on October 20, while Kazma will take on Khaitan on the same day in the seventh round of the league. Al-Arabi holds second place in the league with 15 points, and Kazma is in eighth place with 4 points.

Al-Arabi's Naif Hamid underwent surgery on his cruciate ligament at Al-Razi Hospital, which will keep him sidelined for four months.
