KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: Al-Arabi will seek its second win in the basketball league when it faces Al-Qurain at 7:30 pm in the fourth round of the tournament. The day’s action will also feature a clash between Al-Tadamon and Al-Yarmouk at 5:00 pm. Both matches are set to take place at the Union Hall within Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Halls Complex.
Al-Arabi comes into the game on the back of an 85-66 victory over Al-Yarmouk in the first round. The team has bolstered its lineup with Iranian player Salar Monji and Cape Verde’s Anderson Gomez and aims to continue its strong performances to solidify its position as the league leader. Al-Qurain, on the other hand, narrowly lost to Al-Nasr in its opener, falling short by just one point (79-80). It now looks to secure its first win and prove its competitive potential against a formidable Al-Arabi squad.
In the earlier matchup, Al-Tadamon and Al-Yarmouk will square off under similar circumstances. Both teams have yet to secure a victory in the league, each holding two points from two losses. The game presents an opportunity for either side to claim its first win and gain momentum in the tournament.
