PARIS, Sept 4: Kuwaiti Paralympics champion Faisal Al Rajhi placed tenth in the 1500m (T54) wheelchair race finals at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, clocking a time of 2:54.60 minutes at the Stade de France.
The gold medal was claimed by China’s Jin Hua with a time of 2:49.93 minutes, followed by Switzerland’s Marcel Hug, who took silver with a time of 2:52.59 minutes. The bronze medal went to China’s Dai Yongqiang, who completed the race in 2:53.54 minutes. Al Rajhi is scheduled to compete today, Thursday, in the 800m qualifiers. He previously earned a bronze medal last Saturday in the 5000m (T54) race, finishing with a time of 10:55.99 minutes.
