Double silver medalist Faisal al-Rajhi .

ABU DHABI, Feb 7, (KUNA): Kuwait's team clinched two additional medals, bringing their total tally to an impressive 17 medals at the conclusion of the 12th Sharjah Para Athletics Forum. Faisal al-Rajhi secured the two medals by securing second place in both the 1500-m and 5000-m wheelchair running competitions.

Shafi al-Hajri, the President of Kuwait Disabled Sport Club, expressed immense pride in the achievements of Kuwait's athletes. He dedicated this success to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Al-Hajri revealed that the Kuwaiti team is gearing up for the upcoming championship in Dubai, with hopes for continued progress and success.

In the three-day competition, Kuwait's team secured a remarkable haul of five gold, eight silver, and four bronze medals. The event, which commenced on Sunday and concluded on Tuesday, witnessed the participation of 290 male and female athletes from 38 countries.
