Al-Salmiya looking to return to winning ways.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 28: Al-Salmiya will look to return to winning ways when it faces Al-Tadamon at 5:00 pm today in the tenth round of the preliminary stage of the Handball League. A second match, featuring Khaitan against Yarmouk, is scheduled for 6:30 pm. Both matches will take place at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Halls Complex.

After losing to Al-Arabi in the previous round, Al-Salmiya dropped to third place with 12 points. The team is eager to win against Al-Tadamon, which is currently struggling in 13th place with just a single point.

In the second match, Khaitan enters 10th place with 8 points and hopes to secure a victory over Yarmouk, who sits in 12th place with only 2 points.

Meanwhile, Kuwait Club will face Al-Nasr tomorrow in a match postponed from the ninth round. Matches involving Kuwait Club and Kazma had been rescheduled due to their participation in the recently concluded Asian Championship in Doha.

The league operates under a single-round format, with the top six teams advancing to the Premier League, which will be contested in a three-division system. Teams will carry over points earned in the preliminary stage. The remaining teams, ranked seventh to fourteenth, will compete in a two-division league to finalize their positions.
