KUWAIT CITY, Dec 8: Al-Salmiya and Al-Arabi teams qualified for the final of the His Highness the Crown Prince Football Championship in its 30th edition (2022-2023) season, after defeating both Al-Sahel and Al-Qadisiyah in the semi-finals.
In the first match that took place at Abdullah Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah Stadium, Al-Salmiya won on penalties (4-3) after a tie with a goal for each of them, as Nawaf Al-Khalidi opened the score for Al-Sahel in the 10th minute, Al-Salmiya equalized the score through their Iraqi player Aso Rustom in the 90th minute.
In the second match, Al-Arabi qualified for the final of the tournament after defeating Al-Qadisiyah 3-0 in the match that was held at Al-Shabab Stadium. Tariq Bouabta and Keigslay Idoh scored two goals.(KUNA)
