KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: Al-Salmiya regained its lead in the Handball League with a dominant 39-17 victory over Al-Tadamon in the tenth round of the preliminary stage. Meanwhile, Khaitan secured a hard-fought 34-31 win against Al-Yarmouk in the same round.

Al-Salmiya controlled the game from the outset, ending the first half with a commanding 23-10 lead. It maintained its dominance in the second half to seal the win, leaving Al-Tadamon still searching for its first victory.

Khaitan, on the other hand, celebrated its second consecutive win with an impressive performance. It built momentum with a strong first half and maintained its edge in the second to collect its eighth point.

The round kicked off with an intense derby between Al-Qadsiya and Al-Arabi. Al-Qadisiya triumphed 29-20 in a thrilling match characterized by fierce competition. Leading 16-10 at halftime, Al-Qadsiya continued to outshine its rival in the second half, bolstering its chances of finishing among the Premier League's top six.

Elsewhere, Al-Qurain defeated Al-Fahaheel 35-28. Al-Qurain led 19-16 at halftime and extended its advantage in the second half, earning a critical victory to climb further in the standings.
