Maha Al Saqr intensifies training ahead of the championship.

KUWAIT CITY, May 1: The Kuwaiti national team is gearing up for the 20th Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, set to kick off in Uzbekistan. With a significant turnout of female athletes from across the Yellow Continent, the competition commences tomorrow.

Representing Kuwait in this prestigious event are Maha Al-Saqr and Nour Al-Razihan. The team's delegation arrived in Tashkent yesterday, led by Salah Askar, a member of the Gymnastics Federation's General Assembly. Alongside Askar, coach Hana Sabotina accompanies the debutant players, Maha and Nour, making their first appearance in a continental championship.

Al-Saqr, competing in the women's category, has diligently prepared for this tough competition, dedicating herself to daily training following her recent participation in the world championship held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, Nour Al-Ruzaihan will showcase her skills in the junior women's category, having honed her abilities through participation in the Sofia International Championship, recently held in the Bulgarian capital.

The Gymnastics Federation extends its best wishes to Al-Saqr and Al-Ruzaihan, expressing confidence in their abilities and dedication to delivering their best performances on this continental stage.
