Muhammad Al-Saraawi

KUWAIT CITY, June 4: Muhammad Al-Saraawi, the General Secretary of the club and the Kuwait Diving and Rescue Federation, voiced concern over the Sports Authority's delay in disbursing financial allocations and sports sabbaticals. He highlighted the potential negative impact on diving teams' participation in world championships and the players' ability to engage in tournaments. Al-Saraawi emphasized the pivotal role of securing adequate funding and providing sports sabbaticals for players in fostering the development and promotion of sports, particularly for those with international medal standings poised for global competition.

Al-Saraawi underscored the inadequacy of alternative financing options and partnerships with the private sector and other stakeholders in supporting national diving teams adequately. He concluded by urging the Sports Authority to prioritize providing financial support and fulfilling sports obligations for national teams, given the significance of diving as a sport, with players representing the nation in global championships.

Furthermore, Al-Saraawi called for athletes and national teams to be prioritized, stressing the importance of allocating all necessary resources to enable them to achieve success and represent the country effectively on the international stage.
