KUWAIT CITY, April 10: The Al-Seyassah daily continues to receive congratulatory messages on the occasion of its 56th anniversary. These messages came from the sheikhs and officials; as well as the media and cultural figures in Kuwait and the sisterly and friendly countries. They expressed their appreciation for the pioneering role the daily plays in the Kuwaiti media landscape in particular, and the Arab world in general; while commending its ongoing contributions to consolidating the values of freedom of opinion and expression and defending national, Arab and humanitarian causes.

They lauded the daily’s more than five and a half decades of professionalism, courage and commitment to champion social issues. They affirmed that the daily has established a distinguished journalism school and has become a reliable source of information and analysis over its long history, which has been replete with achievements and milestones in all fields.

Minister of Justice Counselor Nasser Yousef Al-Sumait sent a congratulatory cable to the management of the daily stating, “I am pleased to extend to you my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of your distinguished newspaper, in appreciation of its pioneering media career that has established its distinguished presence in the Kuwaiti and Arab press landscape. Since its launch, Al-Seyassah has been a free platform for responsible speech and a broad space for bold opinions. Through its professional legacy and balanced positions, it has contributed to supporting the nation’s causes and enhancing freedom of expression and public awareness.
