With its long history, renowned professionalism, and objectivity in delivering news, information, and uncovering the truth, Al-Seyassah today enters its 56th year, basking in the glory of success both on the podiums of the press and among the pinnacles of Arab and international journalism. The newspaper continues the path of awareness charted by its veteran leader, Editor-in-Chief Ahmed Al-Jarallah, since its early beginnings in the 1960s.

Over the years, Al-Seyassah has witnessed significant development, enabling it to compete both in print and online locally, regionally, and internationally. However, the road was not a bed of roses. The newspaper has faced many difficulties and challenges, most notably the assassination attempt on its editor-in-chief Ahmed Al-Jarallah. This act, aimed at suppressing the newspaper’s free platform and silencing its voice, was a direct result of its unwavering patriotic, Arab, and nationalist stances. True to the maxim, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” the editor-in-chief has embraced these hardships with resilience and determination. Through this steadfast spirit, Al-Seyassah, along with Arab Times and Al-Hadaf, has become a well-established media empire.
