KUWAIT CITY, Feb 10: The seventh round of the gets underway with two key matchups. Al-Shabab faces Al-Sahel at the latter’s stadium at 8:15 pm, following an earlier clash between Al-Sulaibikhat and Burgan at 6:00 pm at Al-Shabab Stadium. Al-Jahra sits out this round.
Al-Sulaibikhat and Al-Sahel are tied at 4 points, with the latter sitting at the bottom due to goal difference.
Al-Shabab enters the match in top form, aiming for its fourth consecutive victory as it pushes for promotion to the Zain Premier League. Meanwhile, Al-Sahel is desperate to end its three-match losing streak and secure its first win of the season against the league leaders. Their previous encounter ended in a 1-1 draw.
Burgan looks to build on its recent winning form and climb further up the standings, while Al-Sulaibikhat is eager to avenge its 2-0 defeat to Burqan earlier in the competition and claim a second consecutive victory.
With crucial points on the line, both matches promise plenty of action in the race for promotion.
