KUWAIT CITY, March 1: Al-Sulaibikhat achieved a significant 3-1 win over Al-Jahra in the Zain First Division League's tenth round, a match that also saw Burgan draw 0-0 with Al-Sahel.
This victory marked Al-Sulaibikhat's third in the competition, lifting it to third place with 11 points. It also denied Al-Jahra the chance to claim sole leadership, as its points total remained at 12. Al-Shabab continues to lead the standings with 12 points as well.
Al-Sulaibikhat dominated the match and sent a strong message to their rivals, showing it is a formidable contender for qualification to the Premier League. This victory also secured its second consecutive win in the tournament.
The competition between the top five teams is intensifying, with Burgan sitting in fourth place with 10 points, while Al-Sahel occupies the bottom spot with 8 points.
