KUWAIT CITY, May 14: Alghanim Industries, one of the largest privately owned companies in the region was the Platinum sponsor of American University of Kuwait’s (AUK) career fair, and also sponsored the career fair at the American University of the Middle East (AUM).Representatives from the company were present at the career fairs to answer students’ questions and raise awareness of the different businesses at Alghanim Industries, the opportunities available, and employment and internship programs such as the Alghanim Future Leaders Program (AFLP) and the Summer Internship Program.CommentingCommenting on the company’s participation, George Lambros, Chief Human Resources Officer at Alghanim Industries, said: “As the school year comes to a close, Alghanim Industries is happy to have participated in five career fairs at local universities.These events provide us with the opportunity to establish relationships with local talent interested to learn more about the variety of career opportunities and internship programs we offer. As an HR major, I think the career fair benefits the companies, students and graduates at the same time.
