ALSAYER Group rejoice with the Winners of Kuwait National Robotic Competition 2025 for their astounding achievements

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15: As part of its ongoing mission to empower the next generation and promote technological advancement, ALSAYER Group renewed partnership with the Kuwait National Robotics Competition (KNRC) at the strategic level. This partnership underscores the Group’s commitment to fostering creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills among young innovators. The Kuwait National Robotics Competition invited students from across the country to showcase their digital creativity and innovations through robotics challenges to design, program and manage robots that can solve real-life problems.

This prestigious award ceremony in presence of H.E, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information, Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, has shared the platform with Mubarak Naser Al-Sayer, CEO-ALSAYER Group, Dr. Dina Al-Mailam, Director of Kuwait University along with the dignitaries, professors and a large crowd fascinated to support the digital growth of Kuwaiti youth. This year four teams from the Kuwait National Robotics Competition are qualified to represent the VEX Robotics World Championship in Texas, USA, in April 2025. They are, Superheroes from Al-Adailiya School (Elementary level), ABS Team A from American Baccalaureate School (Middle school level), Robotech from Salah Al-Din School (High school level), and Autovortex from Bucharest University of Economic Studies (University level).

Mohamed Naser Al-Sayer, Executive Board Member and Chairman of the Sustainability Committee of ALSAYER Group, said ALSAYER Group prioritizes key collaboration and partnerships to promote social empowerment and innovative learning for our future generation and help them to shape their journey driven by innovation, knowledge and excellence. Our strategic partnership in the Kuwait National Robotics Competition in cooperation with the Kuwait university Computer Science Department of the College of Science and the Ministry of Education, came as a unique opportunity for students to apply their academic knowledge in a competitive and collaborative environment and enhance teamwork and problem-solving skills through creative thinking and promote the values of heritage, leadership and prosperity in various aspects of their lives. We stand today to see the achievements of this tournament and the achievements of our students ranging from school to university level, as they presented creative and innovative ideas and designs to full fill the challenges of this competition and come out as a winner who continuously learn.

Nehad Haj Ali, Group Manager of Corporate Excellence at ALSAYER Group, said that more than 170 teams and 800 students from schools and universities participated to showcase their skills in different categories, including VEX robots, SeaPerch, Drones and the Open Innovation Challenge. The great enthusiasm for the competition reflects the students' dedication to digital learning and their strong desire to pursue careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. (STEM).
