Amir and President-elect Trump highlight depth of Kuwait-US relations

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20:  On Tuesday evening, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah made a phone call to the U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, offering heartfelt congratulations on his victory in the presidential elections.

During the conversation, they discussed the deep and distinguished bilateral relations between Kuwait and the United States. Both leaders emphasized the strength and depth of these ties, underscoring their shared commitment to enhancing cooperation across various fields, including economic, security, and military sectors. They expressed aspirations to elevate this partnership to new levels that serve mutual interests and agreed to continue consultations within the framework of their strategic alliance.
