KUWAIT CITY, Dec 15,: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Sunday at Bayan Palace, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Crown Prince of Jordan Al- Hussein bin Abdullah II and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of official visit. The Jordanian Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and his wishes of good health to His Highness the Amir and the people of Kuwait for further progress and prosperity. His Highness the Amir, on his part, relayed his greetings to King Abdullah II and wished him good health and well-being and for the people of Jordan's further development under his wise leadership.

 During the meeting, the two talked of the sturdy relations tying the two nations. They discussed issues of common interest as well as the latest developments on regional and international fronts and mechanisms boosting common interests on various levels. Attending the meeting were His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al- Ahmad Al-Sabah and First Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah and other top officials. His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al- Sabah received on Sunday Crown Prince of Jordan Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of an official visit. Official talks were held and His Highness the Crown Prince headed a Kuwait delegation accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, head of the mission of honor accompanying the guest Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate sheikh Sabah Bader Sabah Al-Salem Al-Shabah and high ranking officials. The Jordanian delegation was headed by Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II and top ranking officials. The talks were held in a friendly atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of brotherhood that characterizes the relationship between the two brotherly countries and their common desire for more cooperation and coordination at various levels. Earlier, Crown Prince of Jordan Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II and the accompanying delegation arrived in Kuwait, on Sunday, on an official visit.

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Chief of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah were among those receiving the Jordanian Crown Prince and the accompanying delegation at the international airport. Senior state officials and diplomats from both countries also were present. Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II heads a delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Al-Safadi and senior state officials. Meanwhile, Jordanian Ambassador to Kuwait Sinan Al-Majali affirmed on Sunday the deep-rooted ties with the State of Kuwait, stressing that the two fellow Arab countries were looking at more venues to expand relations. Speaking to KUNA, Al-Majali indicated that the visit by Jordan’s Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II to Kuwait would help bolster ties, reaffirming that the leadership of both countries were eager to further relations in all possible domains.
