Kuwait City, Sept 8: An Amiri Decree was issued on Sunday appointing Nora Al-Fassam, currently serving as the Finance Minister and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs, as the Acting Minister of Oil.

The decree, numbered 154 of 2024, outlines the following:

Decree No. 154 of 2024 on appointing an Acting Minister:

Preamble:

Referring to Decree No. 73 of 2024 concerning the formation of the Ministry, as amended by Decree No. 140 of 2024.

Taking into account Decree No. 153 of 2024, which accepted the resignation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil.

And based on the proposal of the Prime Minister.

Article One: Nora Suleiman Salem Al-Fassam is appointed as Acting Minister of Oil, in addition to her current roles as Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs.

Article Two: The Prime Minister is responsible for implementing this decree, which will be effective from the date of issuance and published in the Official Gazette. (KUNA)
