Arab Gulf Cup Federation assesses Kuwait’s readiness for the Gulf Cup

KUWAIT CITY, May 5: Abdullah Al-Shaheen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Football Association, welcomed the delegation from the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation to kick off their inspection visit at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. The meeting was attended by Faisal Al-Yateem, Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Sports, Jassim Al-Rumaihi, Secretary-General of the Arab Gulf Cup Federation, Abdulaziz Al-Samhan, tournament director, and various representatives from the Kuwaiti Federation, Gulf delegation, and the Authority.

The purpose of the inspection visit is to assess Kuwait’s readiness to host the “Gulf 26” competitions scheduled for December 21, 2024.

Al-Shaheen affirmed Kuwait’s preparedness to host this significant tournament, cherished by the Gulf community. He highlighted the importance of fulfilling the directives of the political leadership to ensure the success of this Gulf celebration, reflecting Kuwait’s commitment to upholding its reputation.
