KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: The Capital Governorate Security Directorate's Public Security Sector recently apprehended a suspect involved in a vehicle arson incident in the Andalusia area. He was taken into custody just 15 minutes after the crime took place.
The arrest happened when patrol units conducting routine inspections in Granada noticed a suspicious, unregistered vehicle. Upon investigation, officers discovered gasoline, knives, and a stun gun inside. A call to the operations room confirmed a recent report of a vehicle fire, which linked the suspect to the crime.
This quick response highlights the Directorate’s ongoing efforts to intensify security measures, strategically deploying checkpoints across various areas to monitor and apprehend law violators and maintain public safety. The suspect and the seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action.
