Minister of Interior oversees Ishbiliya security campaign

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: The Ministry of Interior conducted a large-scale security and traffic operation in the Ishbiliya area, targeting lawbreakers and violators. The campaign, overseen by First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, yielded significant results.

According to a statement released by the ministry on Saturday, the operation resulted in:
1,353 various traffic violations issued
7 individuals arrested for expired residency
9 persons wanted for absence apprehended
1 person caught with narcotics
1 individual found in an abnormal condition
4 wanted persons with outstanding arrest warrants detained
4 vehicles and motorcycles seized for traffic violations
7 vehicles wanted in connection with cases impounded

The ministry emphasized that this campaign is part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability across the country. Officials have called on both citizens and residents to fully cooperate with security personnel and report any violations or suspicious activities by contacting the emergency phone number. This operation underscores the government’s commitment to maintaining law and order, particularly focusing on traffic regulations and residency laws.

The ministry’s proactive approach aims to address various forms of violations and criminal activities to ensure public safety and compliance with Kuwaiti laws.
