KUWAIT CITY, April 27: The security personnel of the Fahaheel Police Station halted the activities of an Asian expatriate, who was also wanted for cases and violating residency laws, for selling local alcohol to young people. The suspect had around 1,030 bottles of homemade alcohol in his possession. The incident occurred when a patrol from Fahaheel police station became suspicious of a closed bus. As the officers approached, the driver attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended. It was revealed that the driver was an Asian national, wanted for various cases, and violating residency laws. A search of the bus uncovered a large quantity of local liquor bottles. During questioning, the accused admitted to manufacturing the alcohol with the help of other individuals of his nationality, then selling it to customers for 10 dinars per bottle.
