KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: The Investigations Department successfully apprehended an Asian expatriate accused of defrauding both expatriates and citizens across various governorates through a meticulously planned ambush.
According to a security source, the investigation was prompted by a report filed by an Asian expatriate who had been scammed. The victim had agreed to a project and provided the accused with approximately 170,000 dinars, only to have the suspect vanish. Following this, authorities gathered intelligence on the accused and set up an ambush, which revealed that the total amount defrauded exceeded 300,000 dinars from multiple victims. The suspect has been arrested, and the case is currently under investigation.
