KUWAIT CITY, Jan 8: An Asian expatriate was arrested in Mahboula area in possession of 103 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Mahboula area when they noticed an individual opening the trunk of his vehicle. As soon as the latter noticed the security men, he closed the trunk and tried to run away. Security men managed to stop him and checked his details to discover he is an Asian expatriate.

They checked his vehicle and found 103 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. When questioned, the suspect confessed that he was planning to sell them to his clients. He was arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for further investigations
