KUWAIT CITY, Jan 7: Experts from the Criminal Evidence General Department in the Crime Scene Sector at the Interior Ministry, as well as officers from the Search and Investigation Unit in the Criminal Investigation Department in Hawally Governorate, continue to work hard to unravel the mystery behind the death of two individuals whose bodies were found inside a hotel apartment in Salmiya last weekend, reports Al-Jarida daily quoting a security source. The source confirmed that the authorities have identified the bodies as that of a Syrian man and a female Saudi national who was reported to have left her family home four days before the discovery of the bodies. A missing person report was filed at a police station in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate.

The source revealed that the results of the initial forensic examination indicate no criminal suspicion behind the death, as the two bodies were intact and had no signs of violence that could have led to their death. The source said the Forensic Medicine Department hinted at the possibility of joint suicide.
