Government employees urged to plan ahead for Eid holiday extension.

KUWAIT CITY, March 31: Al-Anbaa has received confirmation from reliable sources that the integration of government agencies' employees' fingerprints into the Civil Service Commission's integrated systems will not impact the distribution of excellent bonuses.

According to the sources, all government entities have embraced the employee evaluation system within the integrated systems. Consequently, it's imperative to link the evaluation criteria of each agency to these systems to ensure transparency and fairness in employee assessments.

When questioned about the benefits of this integration, the sources clarified that modifying fingerprints can only be executed through the "Diwan," thereby safeguarding government employees from any adverse effects, except for those not adhering to the prescribed guidelines.

The Bureau has made significant progress in linking government agencies' fingerprints to the integrated systems. It is anticipated that by the end of this year, the remaining agencies, institutions, and ministries will also be integrated.

In light of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holiday, sources have advised government employees seeking an extension of their leave to formally submit their requests ahead of time. Any submissions during or after the holiday period may not be entertained. Additionally, the sources emphasized that any absence before or following the Eid al-Fitr holiday will be considered as part of the overall absence from work, including the official holiday, potentially resulting in deductions from salaries or end-of-service bonuses.
